How are Gel & Jules press on nails better than the drugstore brand?
Gel & Jules press on nails are hand painted and use salon quality materials like soft gel tips, hard gel, and are finished with a high shine or matte UV top coat to protect your design. Not only are they strong, but they are reusable up to 5x with proper application, care, and removal.
Drugstore brand press ons are made with plastic and are incredibly thin. They are quick fixes, but after one use, they are done for.
How do I order?
If the set you're looking for isn't marked as "sold out" then it's available for purchase. If the one you want isn't available but you really need it, please email gelandjules@gmail.com
How long does it take you to create my nails?
After you order, please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed (we are closed on the weekend). After the processing time is complete, it takes an average of 7 business days for your set to be created, but may take up to 14 business days depending on your order volume, holidays, or peaks in ordering. If you need it ASAP, please make note of it at checkout. Please remember, Gel & Jules press on nails are hand painted by just 1 person (Jules). If she thinks your order will take longer than average to complete, she will email you personally. We appreciate your patience!

I don't know my sizes. What do I do?
We 100% recommend you purchase a sizing kit for $7! Sizing at home is an option as well, but it can lead to inaccuracies. Proper sizing is key to ensuring the nails fit properly, don't pop off, and can be saved and reused for multiple wears.
I know my sizes from ordering press ons before. Do I need to buy a sizing kit?
We use soft gel tips from various manufacturers. If you used Apres tips but are ordering a set using another brand's tips, the sizing may not be the same. Please contact info@gelandjules.com or DM us on Instagram, @gelandjules, before ordering to clarify. You can always purchase a sizing kit for $7 if you want to be 100% sure.
What are the measurements for the predetermined sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, and Large?

What shapes do you offer?
Gel & Jules press on nails uses soft gel tips from Apres, Esvy, and NailzKatKat. For a full list of shapes, please visit this page.
How do I apply the nails and keep them from popping off?
Prep is key! The key things to prioritize are gently pushing your cuticles as far back as you can, buffing away all shine on the nail, and dehydrating you nails with the alcohol prep pad. All of these tools, and more, are included in your press on nail order and are available for separate purchase.
Are your press ons reusable?
Yes! With proper application, care, and removal, Gel & Jules press on nails are reusable up to 5x.
My press ons don't fit correctly. They're either too small or too big. Do you send replacements for free or offer refunds?
As stated on the product page, customers are responsible for providing the correct sizes. Due to them being hand painted and custom made, we do not offer free replacements or refunds.
If a nail is slightly bigger, you can gently file the base of the press on to your desired shape.
I lost a nail, do you offer replacements?
Yes! Replacement nails are $7 each. Please be sure to include exactly what design and nail size you need replicated in the order notes at checkout.
What's included in my order?
Your set will arrive taped to an instruction card. Each set includes a prep kit that has:
- 1 mini nail file
- 1 cuticle stick
- 1 mini buffing block
- 2 alcohol prep wipes
- 1 sheet of nail glue adhesive stickers
- 1 tube of nail glue (please cut tip off before using)
Nail glue sticker sheets, nail glue, and prep kits are available for purchase if you want extras.
Will my press ons look like the photograph?
No, but that's ok! Each set is hand painted, so there may be slight differences from the photo and your nails. Also, the sets are photographed in various shapes and lengths, so the design will differ slightly depending on the shape/length you choose. But they'll be as similar as possible.
Custom Orders
Do you take custom orders?
I offer a limited amount of custom orders per week. If they are available on the site, then you are able to purchase. After ordering, please email info@gelandjules.com with your inspiration photo(s), your desired shape, and your sizes. Please note, pricing may increase after discussing your final design. The difference will be invoiced and you must pay it before the set gets created.
After discussing the design with you, can I change the design?
No. At the end of our discussion, Julia will go over the details of your order and confirm. Once you say yes, she will start painting and they cannot be changed.
Cancellations, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Cancellations are accepted only within 24 hours of purchase. Refunds will be made to the payment method used at checkout, but are subject to a 3% fee placed by Shopify (our website hosting platform).
Returns or exchanges can only be made if your package was damaged in transit. Picture proof must be submitted within 3 days of delivery. These press ons are hand painted, and a lot of love and time gets put into these sets.
As stated on the product page, customers are responsible for providing the correct sizes. If the sizing you provided leads to an incorrect fit, we will not issue a refund, store credit, or exchange.

Shipping
Do you offer international shipping?
At this time, we do not offer international shipping.
How long does shipping take?
We currently offer economy, standard, and express shipping. Get free economy or standard shipping when you spend $100+. Use code FREESHIP100 at checkout.
Economy is $4.99 and takes approximately 5-8 business days to arrive.
Standard shipping is $8 and takes approximately 3-4 business days to arrive.
Express shipping is $40 and takes 1-2 business days to arrive.
The approximations above don't account for possible carrier delays.
My package was returned to sender. How do I get it reshipped?
If your package was returned to us, we will reship it to you! This will incur a reshipping cost.
My package never arrived. What do I do?
Unfortunately, once the package is shipped and in the hands of the carrier, there isn't much we can do. Packages may take up to 32 business days to arrive. If you are experiencing a major delay, please contact the carrier with your tracking number and other information, and they will better help you.
If it never arrives, we will give you store credit to use on your next order!
